What to Expect
Expect hands-on fun, storytelling, resources, and a mix of structured activities and open play. The annual picnic is a time for families to gather and celebrate our Wašiw heritage in our traditional homelands

Tribal members are welcome to arrive early and set up their spots. It is anticipated that various booths, vendors and traditional games will be available. and of course - gobé!

Guided outdoor activities and free play to stretch, move, and soak up some fresh air. We anticipate offering stretching exercises for elders and families. Tribal members are encouraged to hike throughout Grover’s this day to view our traditional homelands

We'll end the day with a closing talking circle before tribal members head home for the evening.
